The ceremony was held in a field on private land just outside of Aspen, Colorado. The light was perfect, the bride and groom in love and the backdrop was something from a romance film. It honestly doesn’t get much better than this. To top it off, Alex and Max had an incredible group of friends and family surrounding them for their wedding… plus, they know how to throw a party! Just… watch…

“He figured out that epic ski days come and go, but the opportunity for a girl like Kristin, comes along once in a lifetime.”
That sums up this couple so nicely. Both passionate about what they do but not afraid to change gears and try something new. We absolutely loved working with Kristin & Jeff for their wedding at Beano’s Cabin in Beaver Creek, Colorado. What a fun wedding film.

Simply genuine. That’s how Erika and I described this couple after everything wrapped up on their wedding day. We see all types of couples, but these two were just the definition of real. The thing that was the most impressive was how they just went with the flow on the day of the wedding. Their ceremony took place at the Vail Wedding Deck but about six minutes into the ceremony mother nature decided things needed to speed up. They said their “I Do’s” and everyone got on the gondola and headed down the mountain. An impromptu Second Act of the ceremony then took place at the beautiful Sonnenalp in Vail. Check out how easily they roll with the punches… these two are going to do just fine.

When Lindsay contacted us we could tell she was excited. Of course, because she was getting married, but it was more than that. Over the phone we could just feel her energy and personality and love for life. As she told us about their plans for their wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, we started painting the picture in our head of how amazing the day would be. The boudoir shoot before putting on the dress, the exchange of gifts before the first look and not to mention her handsome groom, Tyler. We wouldn’t have changed a single thing about this day.
We loved working with the awesome and very talented C.R. and Tiffany of Brinton Studios as well as the very cool and helpful staff at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch.
Usually we focus on telling “the” story. However, Erika and I both got the feeling that we were just part of the back story, the prologue… the beginning. Meghan and James weren’t just throwing a big party for their friends or having a relaxing, small wedding. They were getting married and they couldn’t have been more sincere about it. But beyond that, they were surrounded by sincere friends and family. The day was incredible and we think the wedding film shows exactly that.
We loved working side-by-side with Mark and Michele of IN Photography as well as the very cool Kara Delay from Love This Day Events.
I first met Kelsie & Xyrus in our studio while they were in Boulder meeting with vendors. The first thing Kelsie noticed on my desk was my Xbox controller (you know, for when I need to take a break from editing all these awesome weddings)… From that point I knew these were “my people.”
They first met in class while they were both studying at the University of Colorado here in Boulder and that’s where this wedding took place. They would often sit on a bench near the pond and watch the turtles and enjoy their time together. They even took a moment after the ceremony to breath deep, relax and enjoy a little down time before the reception. It was an incredibly heartfelt day with just the right amount of comic relief. The reception followed up at the St.Julien Hotel in downtown Boulder. Congrats Kelsie & Xyrus!
It was a pleasure working with Heather and Jolene from Calluna Events as well as the talented photographer Jason of Jason+Gina Photographers.
The St.Julien Hotel & Spa was amazing as ever and the decor from Pink Monkey Solutions and flowers from European Flowers transformed the ball room into an amazing space for the reception. Lastly, their amazing wedding cake created by Tee & Cakes.
It was a cloudless, sunny day in March at the top of the mountain in Vail when we first met Jessica & Colin. They were in town on a ski vacation with their family and we got the chance to take a couple runs with them. From that moment, Erika and I knew this would be one of our favorite couples this year. Their wedding, a few months later, was absolutely perfect. And by perfect, I mean in the sense that they were surrounded by great friends, loving family and an energy that felt unstoppable. The entire day took place at Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek. So much energy and excitement. This wedding film is one for the books. Congrats Jessica & Colin!
Life really is wonderful and there isn’t one right way to do it. Kenyon and Luke are a great living example of doing things their own way.
We hit it off with Kenyon and Luke right away in a small park in Denver. We sat in the grass, our two little girls played and ran around together and it really was the perfect way to start our relationship. When we showed up for their wedding, everything was cruising along fairly smoothly… with the exception that Kenyon was not only a beautiful bride, but, also still very much a mom. Worrying about makeup and how to fix a bottle at the same time has it’s own wonderful charm to it. And that’s just the thing with these two. You really got the feeling that they live life according to their own rules. It was awesome to be around and Erika and I think it came through in their Short Film. Congrats Kenyon & Luke!
We first met Kavita & Amit in downtown Denver. Some people you are just able to talk to… the conversation just moves along effortlessly. That was our experience with these guys. They are so open and fun and just bring a good vibe to be around. When we showed up to shoot their wedding film, it was obvious that these two had this affect on everyone around them. Everybody was in good spirits, light hearted and ready to enjoy the amazing day that was about to happen. Kavita & Amit’s was the first Indian wedding to be hosted at the Brown Palace in downtown Denver. Amit even rode a horse into the hotel lobby! Needless to say, this was an awesome wedding and we really enjoyed working with these two. Congrats Kavita & Amit!
